Fundamentos biomecánicos y factores de riesgo de lesiones del lanzamiento en el béisbol

Resumen

Introducción: El análisis de los fundamentos biomecánicos del gesto de lanzamiento en el béisbol, los factores de riesgo asociados con la causa del gesto y las peculiaridades propias del lanzador joven permite optimizar el rendimiento en la práctica clínico-deportiva y disminuir el riesgo de lesión.

Objetivo: Analizar la biomecánica del lanzamiento de beisbolistas jóvenes desde la práctica clínico-deportiva para la prevención de lesiones.

Métodos: Se realizó una revisión documental de artículos relacionados con los análisis biomecánicos del gesto de lanzamiento en el béisbol. A partir de una búsqueda exhaustiva en bases de datos científicas como PubMed, Web of Science y Scopus, se seleccionaron 19 artículos (2010-2025) centrados en la biomecánica, las lesiones deportivas y la técnica del lanzamiento en el béisbol.

Análisis y síntesis de la información: La investigación ubica el foco en las seis fases del lanzamiento: wind-up, stride, arm cocking, aceleración, desaceleración y follow-through, y en la necesidad de un entrenamiento progresivo para evitar lesiones por sobreuso, al priorizar, en primer plano, la calidad técnica. La técnica biomecánicamente correcta y la sinapsis neuromuscular son fundamentales para alcanzar un rendimiento óptimo y una reducción del riesgo de lesiones.

Conclusiones: Es importante realizar un análisis integral que contemple la respiración y la alineación postural para llevar a cabo un planteamiento preventivo y de formación eficaz.
